We are a recruitment service for single mothers and other single parents, and for employers who want to hire them on hours a parent can keep.
What we do
A job search usually starts with the job and asks you to fit around it. We start from the other end: the hours you can keep. School drop-off and pickup, the days a grandparent can help, the evenings when the children are with their other parent. Then we look for work that fits inside them.
For employers we work the other way round. We take a role that is hard to fill on a standard schedule, help reshape it into school hours, a four-day week, hybrid or remote work, and then look for people who can do it well.
Who the service is for
People looking for work
Single mothers, single fathers, grandparents raising grandchildren and anyone else who carries most of the care at home. You do not have to tell us about your family to use the service.
Employers
We recruit for employers whose roles can run on flexible hours: medical and dental offices, pharmacies, insurance agencies, accounting firms, schools, contact centers and technology companies.
Our policies
- Job seekers never pay us a fee.
- Every role we recruit for is open to every qualified applicant. We focus our outreach and support on single parents, and we never ask employers to prefer or exclude anyone because of sex, marital status or family status.
- We never ask job seekers for money, or for bank details before a job offer.
- We recruit in the United States only.
Where our facts come from
Our state, schedule and career guides draw on official sources: state labor, tax and child care agencies, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the IRS and ChildCare.gov. Laws and figures change, so each guide names its source and the year a figure applies to. If you spot something out of date, tell us through the contact form.
