The Covid Pandemic threw many into debt. However, you aren’t left to fend for yourself and your family. There are many grants available throughout the U.S. to HELP YOU. The Government Hardship grants are supposed to help you get fast cash to pay off your bills. Some do not understand the processes that these grants take.

Continue to look through the ones below to find one that will suit your needs.

How to Find Government Hardship Grants for Me?

First, you’ll need to know what type of grant suits your needs from there. You can easily apply through that grants department or its organisation. E.g., If you are unemployed, you can apply for unemployment benefits. Ideally, this would be a method to get you back to YOUR GLORY. These you can use through your local governments and some private organizations.

These can include:

  • Bill payments
  • Food
  • Training and certificates to find work

Each grant will have its application process. So, applicants can usually track the application for these grants.

1. Government Hardship Grants for Single Mothers:

Single mothers should be the head of their households or single earners in the family. The government hardship grants were established to ensure that the necessary mothers get help in all possible ways. Often this grant will help them find:

  • additional grants
  • NGO’S
  • non-profits
  • etc.

In addition, some single mothers find help through:

  • HeadStart
  • Salvation Army

Headstart

Headstart dedicates itself to taking care of single mothers. In a collaborative effort with a governmental agency, this will mean that they will take care of them.

HEADSTART IS AN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO HELPING AMERICA GET BACK ON ITS FEET

This organization is dedicated to helping with any adverse effects on one’s family. They also strive to put mothers back to health when they stumble or struggle.

Moreover, Headstart keeps ugly sentences such as:

  • “I need money.”
  • or “I can’t pay for my child’s medical care.”
  • and “I have some loose change in my bag.”

You need only register with the organisation. You would ONLY NEED A FEW DOCUMENTS STATING NATIONALITY, YOUR SOURCE O INCOME, ANNUAL INCOME, SIZE OF FAMILY, AND DISABILITY.

Salvation Army

Headsmart is not the only collaborative effort there for your support.

Some state’s services offer over city, county, and state control. This can be due to distance or population, but it is there for your benefit. In the emerging family era of single motherhood often single mothers have no one to help them with child support.

Most states have their financial aid schemes to ensure that they take care of single mothers. This would be any mothers in the low-income area or due to other financial strains.

YOU MATTER!

You can benefit from these grants and hardship grants for single mothers or single-parent households.

2. Government Hardship Grants for Unemployed

If you have exhausted your jobless benefits and you need a spare wheel to run the vehicle of your life. Ideally, it would be best to get a new job at that time, but sometimes it does not happen that quickly. That’s why you have other options like finding an organization that helps you in need or applying for extensions of benefits. In the end, you can re-submit for the benefit year. And you can start receiving it again after re-submitting and claiming.

Emergency Unemployment Compensation

This compensation is meant to be an emergency grant supplied by your federal government to your state. This grant is available for those who exhausted their unemployment benefits.

This program is generally automatic. If you do not receive any compensation, you can visit the office for your eligibility for an extension. However, if you do not immediately qualify, you can always reapply!

Resubmitting your unemployment benefits can only be done once every financial year. You can do this through your government’s unemployment website or call the unemployment hotline for your state.

NOTE:

  • Eligibility is subject to your income threshold for your financial year.
  • Check this before submitting(or resubmitting) your application
  • This threshold limit is the amount you have earned in the last four or five quarters.

Besides, there are grants for unemployed people to go back to school. So, if you are considering this options, check out our page for more grants!
