Utility Bills Help In Arkansas

Arkansas Energy Network 

A non-profit organization that provides information and fuel funds to the region. This network provides information to single mothers about available electrical assistance programs and how to access them. 

Through an application process, charities, churches, or other organizations can help you obtain utility programs. This organization has information about the different programs offered by energy providers to single mothers to help them pay their electric bills. These also include payment plans.

River City Ministry

An organization that is faith-based and assists with utility bills such as rent, water, and rent. They assist a variety of people, including single mothers with low incomes, the homeless and those who are in need of assistance. Day shelter is also available for individuals and families.

The Central Arkansas Water (CAW) 

Residents who meet the CAW’s low-income guidelines can receive assistance programs. These programs are there to help residents pay their water bills. Donations, company-administered funds, the Help to Others Customer Assistance Fund and a mixture of government assistance and private grant funding provide the funding. 

They are for helping single mothers who experience financial difficulties that led to their water service disconnection. The CAW has received financial support from local businesses and non-profit organizations to fund the Help to Others Fund. This fund provides financial assistance and support to income-eligible customers who need it. This funding is to assist seniors and families with young kids in their ability to pay their bills.

Offers heating bill assistance through The Hearts Warming Homes program. This assistance program runs each year from November through April. Cash grants and help are based on need, so single mothers are not expected to meet income requirements.

Arkansas Family Health Foundation 

ARcare is a nonprofit that finances a program. It’s a community health network that provides affordable medical and dental care. They also offer an outreach literacy program and an early learning centre for children under 5.

Denali KidCare provides Medicaid coverage for children from birth to 18 years old, including postpartum care for pregnant women who meet income guidelines. Eligible children, teenagers and pregnant women do not pay a premium. Youth under 18 may have to pay a portion of some services. Fayetteville’s Transportation Program

Provide low-income single mothers, elderly and disabled residents. In an effort to offer a better service, the service has two main programs. These are the Taxi Program and Transit Program. You must fill in an application to gain access to the service. Only one application is allowed per applicant.

Food And Meals Help

The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance 

They advocate for hunger reduction through various initiatives, such as Feeding America, volunteers, corporate partners, and hunger relief agencies. They work to provide food resources, education, and programs to help reduce hunger in their communities. 

Arkansas has six Feeding America food banks. These food banks serve as distribution points for food and other relief products that will then be distributed. Soup kitchens, shelters and food pantries distribute groceries to those in need.

Alaska General Relief Assistance (GRA)

General Relief Assistance (GRA), a safety net program, is designed to assist individuals and families in emergencies such as shelter (eviction notice), utilities, food, clothing, burial, or shut-off notice. The department will determine eligibility and the amount of relief on a case-by-case basis. The maximum amount of subsistence assistance is $120 per household member.

The Little Rock Compassion Center Inc.

It aids people experiencing hunger, homelessness or those with a low level of community resources. Donations are the only source of funding for this ministry. Clothing is donated to those who are in greatest need. They provide hot showers in the shelter and clean clothing for the evenings.
