A community-oriented organization with an affordable housing program that helps low-income families, including single mothers, become homeowners. They offer permanent, ongoing housing, which allows residents to stay for as long as they require. Individuals and families can receive homeownership training and assistance. They assist families in the purchase, renovation, insurance, maintenance and management of their homes.

Modest Needs Organization 

The Modest Needs Organization provides assistance with monthly bills for a family or individuals who cannot pay their monthly bills at the time they apply. Individuals who have to take time off work because of a child’s illness or can’t afford their car insurance. They also help those who were in an accident that caused damage to their vehicle and couldn’t afford rent or mortgage payments. Modest Needs will pay bills if the emergency is documented.

If a person is renting from a relative, the organization will not make a rental payment. The organization does not provide rental deposits, and the payment will be returned as cash to the applicant after the rental term has ended.

Our House Organization 

The shelter is a safe haven for children, men and women. Two dorms are available for children and men. It provides essential hygiene products, three meals per day, and clothing for its residents. There are facilities on the campus, including a commercial kitchen, a restaurant, common areas and a play area. There are several housing options available for current residents. These include apartment-style and family-house housing options. Although it has more responsibility, the family house offers more privacy and privileges. Single mothers with children often inhabit this housing area. It allows them to easily transition into permanent housing.

The Turning Point Harvest Center aims to house the homeless and provide utility assistance services to prevent homelessness when funds are available. A secure apartment building is available for single mothers. The church also offers parenting classes through support groups.

The River City Ministry

The River City Ministry is a non-profit organization that provides basic necessities to the community and assists individuals in their relationship with God. The Ministry’s social service department started managing the Housing and Urban Development Housing Programs for homelessness prevention and treatment. A social services team assists participants in the housing process by providing case management.

The Little Rock Compassion Center, Inc. 

A charity that provides assistance to homeless people. This compassion center provides shelter and 250 beds every night for Men, Women, And Families. All people can use the facility.

The Havenwood Program 

The Havenwood Program provides supportive housing in transitional housing for single mothers with their children. This program assists families who are struggling to achieve economic independence and ultimately move into permanent housing. Havenwood is a program that supports single mothers for two years. They should be able, within two years, to eliminate homelessness, secure employment or go to school and volunteer for the organization.

The Gamma House 

The Gamma House is a shelter that provides transitional housing for homeless women and their children. Transitional housing helps women and children who are homeless to get the skills and support they need to live a happily and fulfilled life. A variety of services are provided to residents to help them gain independence. These services support residents spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Each resident is encouraged to take control of her life.

Central Arkansas Team Care for the Homeless (CATCH) 

CATCH is a non-profit organization that provides services to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless. They have access to housing services.

The Metropolitan Housing Alliance (MHA)

A new program that is authorized by the Congress of the United States and administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This program is known as the Rental Assistance Demonstration program (RAD). Housing alliance will transform its public housing units into Project-Based Voucher units. This change will not affect existing residents of housing units. Every household will continue to pay rent in the same way as before.

Universal Housing Development Corporation (UHDC) 

Home Rehabilitation is a program that employs licensed contractors to help applicants achieve their home-repair goals. Access to grants and low-interest loans makes this possible.
