Being aware that we are experiencing anxiety is the first step to dealing with stress. Anxiety can manifest as headaches, stomach pains, fatigue, shortness or breath, insomnia, and other sleep problems.
These symptoms could indicate that your brain is constantly trying to imagine the worst. If your mind starts racing, it is anxiety. Slowly bring your attention to the present. Although we may think that we don’t like being stressed, once we become used to it, it becomes part of our daily thinking.
You can change it by adopting a new way of thinking. Breaking the cycle of negative thoughts and bringing your attention to the present (mindfulness) is a habit. Keep in mind that what we have is just this moment, and that we can’t predict the future.
Instead of fearing the unknown, embrace it. Recognize that the future will bring you both bad and good things.

Parents are more concerned than ever about their children’s safety in the age of social media. Why? It is the speed with which news spreads, and the advancement in technology that allows us to see what’s going on in every corner of the globe.
Fear is a result. We are able to see the worst possible outcomes for our children if we allow them to go. It is possible for anything to happen at any moment. While we can reduce the risk, misfortunes cannot be prevented 100% of the time.
Mom with anxiety should research statistics and facts before we restrict children from doing certain things. Research can help us determine the potential dangers for children of all ages. Then we can plan on how to reduce the risk. It can also be used to educate children and show them what to do in the event of danger.
Mom with Anxiety Has to Learn To Let Go
It is so liberating to learn to let go of all the burdens. It is the antidote for wanting to control everything. People who are anxious want to control the outcome because they fear the worst. When their brains are in overdrive, they can make a mountain from a molehill.

- It will all be accomplished, one at a time. Focusing on the task at hand is what I choose to do
It is important to remember that anxiety cannot be cured by simply replacing it with positive thoughts. Anxiety is something you must acknowledge and accept. Anxiety will only be increased if you try to fight it. Accepting your emotions is a sign that they are accepted and ready to go.
