The Weatherization and Central Heating Improvement Programs (CHIP) helps households improve their heating and cooling, resulting to a more energy-efficient home. Food Assistance

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), a federally funded program that provides food benefits through an Electronic Benefit Transfer Card. The benefits will be used to buy food products and cannot be used for pet food, soap or paper products, alcohol, tobacco, other nonfood items, hot food, or ready to eat meals. Telephone Discount

The Lifeline program provides a monthly discount on phone services of low-income qualified applicants.

The Link-Up program gives 50% reduction for telephone service installation charges to quailed applicants without a phone service.

The SafeLink program gives discounts to customers that own cellphones.

Those that are unable to afford to buy a phone can apply for this discount after contacting their local telephone carrier.

Utility Assistance

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
