Cash Assistance for Single Mothers
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) is a program that provides temporary financial assistance to families who are eligible in Washington. The Economic Services Administration offers two additional cash assistance programs: State Family Assistance and Diversion Cash Assistance. You can apply for TANF through the Washington Connection website.

Help with Food for Single Mothers
All Washington residents can apply for SNAP if they meet the requirements. If you do not meet the residency requirements, you may enroll in the Food Assistance Program (FAP). Contact your CSO to apply for food benefits online.
