Women are significantly underrepresented in engineering education and in the engineering science field. However, as many other professionals, engineering is witnessing a new wave of highly-educated women workforce. Society of Automotive Engineers

These scholarships offer $2,000 to freshmen engineers. Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible.

Lucile B. Kaufman Women’s Scholarship

This scholarship is for full-time undergraduate women who have earned at least 30 semester credits in engineering or manufacturing related fields in an accredited college in the United States. This scholarship requires a minimum 3.0 GPA for all applicants.

Alpha Omega Epsilon Scholarships

Alpha Omega Epsilon offers multiple scholarships to women who study engineering or related fields. There are different requirements depending on which award the woman is applying for.

YouthForce 2020 Scholarships For Women In Engineering

These scholarships in New York award $8,000 to high school seniors who are preparing to study an engineering field that is related to construction. This program aims to encourage women and minorities into the engineering workforce. The applicant must have a minimum B- average and SAT scores of at most 1600 to be eligible. To continue receiving the award, the student must maintain a minimum of 2.8 GPA.

Judith McManus Price Scholarship

These awards are open to both women and minorities who plan on becoming public planners. The funding is between $2,000 and $4,000. Students must be either enrolled in school or have been accepted by a school that is accredited by Planning Accreditation Board to be eligible for the funding. The award is dependent on need. Students should be able show why they require the funding.

This scholarship provides funding for undergraduates who are pursuing training in engineering related to heating, cooling, and ventilation.
