Minnesota Family Investment Program

Families with children who need help with basic needs may apply to the Minnesota Family Investment Program to see whether they qualify for cash grants or food assistance. MFIP incentives are available to applicants who meet the income and employment requirements. WIC is a wellness and nursing program that helps pregnant and breastfeeding moms and their infants, and young children meet their basic needs. MN Energy Assistance Program for Single Moms

The Energy Assistance Program (EAP) may be able to assist you if you need assistance with the cost of your home heating and cooling or with the payment of your utility bills.
