Cash Assistance for Single Mothers
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) is a program that provides temporary financial assistance to families who are eligible in Washington. The Economic Services Administration offers two additional cash assistance programs: State Family Assistance and Diversion Cash Assistance. You can apply for TANF through the Washington Connection website.

Help with Food for Single Mothers
All Washington residents can apply for SNAP if they meet the requirements. If you do not meet the residency requirements, you may enroll in the Food Assistance Program (FAP). Contact your CSO to apply for food benefits online.

Help with Shelter and Housing for single moms
The Housing and Essential Needs (HEN), a program that provides housing assistance to low-income and disabled individuals. Reach Benton and Franklin Coordinated Entry System (CES) at (509) 737-3946.
Tri-City Union Gospel Mission Pasco offers shelters for children, men, and women. They offer job training and transitional housing. Call (509) 557-2112 for the men’s shelter and (509) 547-2112 for the shelters for women and children. Get more information by sending them an Email.

Salvation Army Pasco Corps provides a wide range of services for the less fortunate. Assistance is available for housing, rent, and food banks. You can find summer camp opportunities and annual Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations.
