Where To Find A Free Christmas Tree

Last Updated on October 31, 2023 by Lori Pace

Christmas is around the corner. But everyone knows that X-mas trees can be very costly. Around $30-40 (or even more now) is too much for something that you’ll throw away in a few days. You will be amazed to find out that there are programs that donate Christmas trees to veterans and low-income families. The best way to get discounted or free trees is to wait until the night before Christmas. So, in this article, we will list out some ways for you to find a free christmas tree.

Organizations That Give Free Christmas Tree

Christmas Tree Santas

Christmas Tree Santas

The organization partners with community and human service organizations to give away trees free of charge to low-income families. They cannot provide for all families, but they are able to help those in greatest need. Some trees are saved for later.

When you pick up your Christmas tree, families will be given a gift voucher. This organization adds new locations each year to its list of families who are deserving. Below are their contact numbers:

Trees For Troops

This organization provides free Christmas trees for military families. To bring holiday cheer to troops deployed overseas, the first program provided a live tree. Trees are available for military families that have been separated from their spouses. Every year, trees are distributed to military families the first weekend in December. For military spouses who would like to get the tree, contact the organization as soon as possible.
